The gas consumed is higher when you keep turning the air-conditioner on and off than when you just leave it on. Just adjust the thermostat to a higher temperature at night when the air is cooler. Also, you may open windows to let air in so that you won?t have to use the air-conditioner. Doing the laundry and drying your clothes also consume gas. You can lessen the use of gas by just drying your clothes using a clothesline that way you don?t need to use your gas dryer. It is more advisable to use your gas dryers only when it?s raining outside and that is a good way how to save on gas bills. If your house also has a gas fireplace, only use these during the appropriate times, such as winter or fall season, when the air is cooler.
